The Importance of Seeking the spirit of GOD

That is the problem with some people who are living in the world without Jesus... They got so used to the inner demons, that they are not feeling uncomfortable with the pain, they got so used to the hurting, to be defeat and to live with bad spirits that they don’t care. It is more important Wall Street, Hollywood films, status, physical pleasure, craving for everything they see, and pride in their achievements and possessions than what is going on inside them, they don’t know how to change; for them, there isn’t another way to conceive this world than the one that they already know. JESUS as the way of true and life is a joke to them.

If you didn’t know, As humans we are able to hold in our body a lot of demons we find a man in the book of Mark[1] who have around 2000 demons, he named himself Legion, he said: because we are many... another case is Mary Magdalene, the book of Luke[2] says: “…also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had been expelled. Base on the word of GOD I will say that our bodies can hold more than one spirit, and I am not precisely talking about the Spirit of GOD. But do not panic, JESUS our Lord and Savior can deliver us from any spirit that is not His Holy Spirit.

As Christians, we have to open our eyes and seek for the Holy Spirit guidance to reveal the things that don't belong to a Holy body; otherwise we are going to be looking just like the woman in the cartoon, full of bad spirits that don’t belong to sons and daughters of GOD. What are those things that don’t belong to a saint? The book of Galatians[3] mention sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Did you identify yourself with one of these sins? Those sins are the results of the flesh, when we follow the desires of our sinful nature, therefore if you don’t pay attention to them, they will stay as long as you let them be in your holy temple, your body, making your journey difficult, boring and powerless.

Brother and sister, if you are thinking you don’t have those problems because you are a Christian, I have bad news for you, you have a big one called pride. Ask the Holy Spirit, to reveal in which area you have to improve, listen to His voice and start working on it step by step. Do not forget, the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of GOD[4] so who better than Him to reveal to you the desires, thoughts, and everything that is inside you. Only you know what is in you, but the Spirit will show you if is aligned with God’s word or not.

If we want to grow up and be alike Jesus, have His character, and His power, we need to get rid of everything that keeps us in connection with the world; the book of James[5] says: “… Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God...” John[6] says: “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you…” Brothers and sisters, we have to let the things that belongs to the world go because when we love the world, we don’t have the love of our heavenly father in us. If you called yourself a Christian you must have to love GOD with all you heart, with all your soul, with all your strength[7]… in other words more than anything. It’s time to cut the umbilical cordon with the world and learn how to live by His word, and the guidance of His Holy Spirit. Why? Because we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

I admit, this process could be difficult , sometimes painful, but I know, it’s worthy because only growing up in the spirit, being spiritual mature is just the way God will let us enjoy our inheritance -in Christ-, be able to benefit from everything that He has promised us as His sons and daughters, inherit the Kingdom of GOD.

What our heavenly Father has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard and things that have never even entered our minds!" and GOD only, read carefully, He only reveal that to us by His Spirit[8]. Now, since we need the Holy Spirit and live by His guidance, lets follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives; so we can live according to God’s word daily, not only on Sundays when we are in church. Let’s follow Him everyday, every moment, and take Him everywhere we go.

Do not feel satisfy because you have been saved and have been sealed with the Holy spirit, do not be conformed because you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, seek for the anointing, seek for the power that Jesus left us after He went to heaven... the Holy Spirit is here, He is available, He is looking for us . Open you heart en let Him work in you, let Him reveal to you the magnificence of Jesus, let Him explain the word of God... and like Benny Hinn[9] says all the time “welcome Him” in your life, The Holy Spirit is real, more real than you and me, His presence will change your life; so let's ask for His presence and give Him a chance to change our life and help us to rich the level that God wants for us, to become the person that God wants us to be.
I am sure our Heavenly Father wants us to become true worshipers that will adore Him in spirit and in truth because our Lord is spirit and those who worship God must be led by the Spirit to worship him according to the truth…[10] Something we have to seek everyday.
I pray that this will encourage you to search for Him with all your heart, I am sure you will find Him; thank you Lord in the name of Jesus... thanks Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord[11], I confess that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t plese you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Now I believe your name has been written in the book of live.
